Jennifer Lopez has announced that she and her husband are trying for another baby.
She and her husband have two-year-old twins, Max and Emme and she has said that they would like them to have a younger sibling. She added that they were having lots of fun trying and that having another baby would be a blessing.
Maximilian David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz were born on 22nd February 2008 after much speculation that she was pregnant. She eventually announced the pregnancy on the final day of her 2007 tour and it was just a few weeks before they were born, that her Father announced that she was expecting twins.
Jennifer Lopez married Marc Anthony in 2004 and has said that having children had brought them closer together. The singer song writer has two sons from his previous marriage to Dayanara Torres but the marriage was rocky and was divorced just a week before marrying Lopez. For Lopez, her marriage to Anthony is her third. She has also had a lot of high profile relationships including with Ben Affleck when they were due to get marries and even planned a wedding and spoke of having a family together, but the wedding was called off just hours before it was due to go ahead. This is probably partly why the marriage to Anthony was a very quiet affair at her home, where guests were invited for a party which turned out to be the low-key wedding. Anthony hardly spoke of it in interviews afterwards and it was only about 6 months later that Lopez commented that everyone knew about it and it was not a secret.
It has been reported that they were paid $6 million for the first photographs of them and the twins, which happened in March for an edition of ‘People’ magazine. Lopez explained that having the twins, helped them through tough times. She said that there had been moments when she could not see their future together, but having children made them realise that they needed to work at their relationship. They never go to bed angry with each other and they know their amazing children need them to be together. With both of the couple having had divorces, it is not surprising that they want to work hard at their relationship and also that they know what they need to do in order to keep things good between them.
Lopez explained how she loved children so much. That as soon as she had her first babies she decided that she would like to do it a thousand more times as she felt that it was what life was all about.
Despite having children, she has continued with her career where she started as a dancer on a TV show and then started acting as well as having a singing career. She has recently taken up a role as a judge on TV show ‘American Idol’. She is also an entrepreneur with a fashion line, perfume, film and TV company and has worked in various advertising campaigns, as an executive producer on some television shows and also is involved with several charity campaigns.
